Introducing Aliment Nutrition and PRP Supplements

With a growing interest in health and wellness, the demand for clear and reliable information on nutritional products has never been higher. As the health and nutrition sector expands, being able to differentiate products on the shelf, make brands appeal to consumers and grow loyalty using packaging is paramount. Our latest customer case study delves into the challenges faced by one such business and we spoke to Charlotte the Managing Director of the vitamin and nutritional supplement brand Aliment.

Background and Overview:

Can you briefly describe your brand?

“We have two brands which we sell through two individual websites www.alimentnutrition.co.uk and www.prpsupplements.co.uk and inkREADible provides the labels for both brands. Both are consumer brands which are mail order. Aliment is a brand for all the family, and we also supply some gyms and nutritionists, and PRP was originally set up as a sports and performance brand.”

Impact on Branding

What special printing techniques do you use?

“We recently did a re-brand on our PRP Supplements labels and website and looked at UV spot, but this proved too expensive for us. Dawn from inkREADible suggested some different printing methods, such as high build tactile varnish finish, to have some glossy raised areas on our new labels. With Aliment we have no special effects currently, however, we are looking to do a re-brand this year which I am hoping Dawn will help us with.”

Challenges and Solutions

What challenges have you encountered in your labelling process, and how have inkREADible worked collaboratively to address and overcome them?

“Some of our labels are quite large which is always a challenge, and with the PRP labels they are black with white text and red accents, so the crispness of the text was crucial. We also have glossy raised areas on the logos which turned out really well.

We always have a lot of text to fit on all our labels, so this can be a challenge. Also, if at the last minute, a typo is found, or changes have to be made in between runs, you guys are really helpful.

We label in-house by hand, so the quality and consistency of the labels are really important. The material used is important because we need to ensure they don’t wrinkle or rip easily, whilst not too plastic. I think we have achieved that.

Cost is always going to be a challenge for us because we are a small company trying to convey quality to our customers. We try to order in groups of label sizes, Dawn is brilliant at helping us with this.”

Quality and Satisfaction

What are your thoughts on the quality of your labels?

“We really like them! We are hoping to re-brand the Aliment brand this year which will result in new labels being designed/printed.”

Recommendation

What key factors would you highlight when recommending our label company to other businesses looking for a reliable and innovative labelling partner?

“We already recommend inkREADible to many of our customers who are own-branding, or customers we look after contract manufacturing for. Dawn at inkREADible is fantastic, she is always really helpful, nothing is too much trouble. She always answers emails really quickly and efficiently. The quality of the labels is always great and if we have ever had any problems (which is rare) they are resolved quickly.”

Printed Label Specialist

At inkREADible we specialise in customised printed labels, and we can’t wait to work on the rebranded labels later in the year. We wish PRP Supplements and Aliment continued success in the future.
